CBIC Amends Customs Notification to Authorize Bihta, Bihar for Import and Export Activities.
The CBIC vide Notification No. 21/2024-Customs (N.T.), dated March 12, 2024, has amended its previous Notification No. 12/97-Customs (N.T.) from April 02, 1997. This amendment introduces a new entry, serial number 2A, following serial number 2 in the Table of the principal notification. The newly added entry designates Bihta in Bihar as an authorized location for the unloading of imported goods and the loading of goods for export.
In the said notification, in the Table, after serial number 2 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be inserted, namely:—
